There are four 2008 L Series models available:

The 2008 Saturn L Series L200 comes loaded with 2.2-liter, 4-cylinder engine that uses a dual-overhead-cam and four valves per cylinder. Two counter-rotating balance shafts smooth out engine vibrations and reduce noise. The Saturn L200 offers a 5 speed manual transmission which uses wide-ratio gear sets to optimize fuel economy.

The 2008 Saturn L Series L300 has a 3.0-liter, V6 engine uses a dual-overhead-cam design and four valves per cylinder. It also features an electronic throttle control for a smooth and responsive acceleration and a manual transmission to provide smooth shifting and quiet operation, it monitors driving conditions and adjusts for optimum performance.

The 2008 Saturn L Series LW200 wagon offers a 2.2-liter, 4-cylinder engine that uses a dual-overhead-cam and four valves per cylinder the same as the L200.

The headlight system on the 2008 Saturn L Series works automatically to detect low-light-level situations. The seatbacks that split 60/40 and fold down in the rear.

All Saturn L Series models are designed with four-wheel independent suspension.
