The 2008 Lincoln Town Car comes as front and rear-wheel drive. 4.6 liter/281 cu TYPE SOHC 16-valve V8 with electronic engine control offers 4-speed electronic automatic overdrive with torque converter lockup transmission.

The body of the new 2008 Lincoln Town Car is a sturdy full-perimeter steel frame with hydroformed front section of rails.
